For Sale: Longstaff Tandem

Superb engineering as only George Longstaff knew! Built for us by George in 1997 it has done sterling service covering over 20 thousand miles in all parts of the UK and abroad.

The frame size is 21 inch front and rear with 700C wheels.It has Magura hydraulic rim brakes front and rear operated from the front, plus a rear disk brake operated by the stoker. An "Airwings" shock absorber is fitted to the rear seat-post. An 11-speed Shimano CSM800 11 to 48 teeth cassette is driven from a single 36T chainring operated by a Deore XT shifter. It has flat handlebars with bar end extensions.
The tandem has been kept in a dry (though un-heated) garage, but despite this there are a few spots of rust in places (the result of riding it in all kinds of weather!). However it is still in a very good, sound condition.
To the lucky buyer we are offering, as an optional extra, a rear wheel Bafang motor with controller and battery, free of charge.
